Almost 30 years ago, Cell Voltage Monitoring for test applications were just the beginning of the development of the CVM product family. To this day, they are an essential part of our product range. The core of the systems for monitoring the individual cell voltages of electrochemical cell systems are the cascadable measurement modules, which are combined with process computer modules according to customer requirements and installed in suitable housings.
Since the CVM for test applications and the CVM for series applications are based on a common toolchain, a direct transition from CVM use in research and development to series application is possible without integration effort.
Our CVM systems for test applications can be positioned close to the DUT. They feature galvanic signal isolation, digital signal pre-processing, cascadability as well as CAN and TCP/IP interfaces and are easily adaptable to all typical test bench requirements.
The systems based on the CVM G5 module family are also used in test stands and HiL systems. One example is our test system for fuel cell controls.
Due to their robustness and small size, CVM systems based on the G5 monitoring modules are also ideally suited for use in prototypes. For example, they are used in passenger cars for testing fuel cell drives.
